Beginner string sessions are ideal for young people that have just begun lessons with a basic understanding of their instrument.

Young people will gain exposure to a wide range of orchestral music. Rehearsals are tutor led, with additional help on how to follow music correctly as part of an orchestra. They will be able to strengthen basic expected musical knowledge and develop musicianship skills at their level of playing. Learning to play alongside others, young people will work as a team and develop a good sense of ensemble. Rehearsals are also social and fun, where young people have the opportunity to meet like-minded friends.
