The djembe, a wooden hand drum, is one of West Africa’s best known instruments. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have tried some djembe drumming workshops in school, our djembe drumming group will develop valuable musicianship through listening, learning and playing together as part of a group.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to make music together and meet new friends from other schools.

New starters are welcome to join us in the first three weeks of each term. If you register to join us after this time, we’d be happy to add you to the waiting list, ready to join at the beginning of the next term.
